First day of daycare

How many of us remember our first day of school or daycare? I don't! But, I will remember today which is the first day at daycare for my little one! It's a little crazy for me. It's so hard not to think of the ultrasound scan where I saw her for the first time. She was 1.63cm long(Will never forget those figures!). Today, she is 2 ft tall and is going to stay away from me for a whole day! What would I do with the time? And, there was a time when I waiting for 'alone', just me time!! I have to learn to let go and watch an independent person evolve.
Gosh, I wonder how my mum managed doing this twice! Am counting hours to 6pm when she will be home and will hopefully jump into my arms and tell me all about her day in her own sweet talk of 'liddle-liddle-diddle'!!
